The mission of Knox Labs is to provide an innovative, collaborative environment that inspires community members to discover, develop, and share their potential as makers.

knox labs is formed

A Facebook group is formed with the purpose of establishing a new makerspace in Knox County, Ohio.

11 / 15

First Meeting

Knox Labs holds it's first meeting in the Knox county library.

fundraising begins

Knox Labs officially begins collecting funds for the purpose of establishing 501(c)3 status to allow for tax deductible donations.

Knox Labs moves into it's new home at 1 Public Square in Mount Vernon.

Nonprofit Board Formed

Knox Labs, Inc. nonprofit board is formed

Left the Square space to regroup and prepare for an eventual downtown opening
